Role Description: The Platform Tech Lead must have 8-12 years of experience. We are seeking a Platform Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade AI and data platform.

You will play a hands-on technical leadership role, responsible for platform architecture, integration design, and engineering excellence, with a strong focus on:

- Canonical data models

- Document ingestion & processing pipelines

- AI/agent orchestration frameworks 

You will work closely with AI engineers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure the platform is modular, reusable, and production-ready. 

In this role, you’re expected to:

- Demonstrate strong platform engineering and system design expertise, ensuring scalability and reuse

- Lead end-to-end technical design across ingestion → processing → reconciliation → reporting layers

- Drive development of secure, auditable, and deterministic computation frameworks

- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate agentic workflows with governed control points

- Ensure high-quality engineering practices, coding standards, and platform governance

- Provide hands-on technical guidance and code reviews for critical components

- Enable reusability across multiple audit scenarios and vendors

- Drive performance optimization, cost efficiency, and observability

Responsibilities:

- Design and own the platform architecture for AI-driven invoice audit system

- Define and implement canonical data model for financial and audit data

- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and validation pipelines

- Integrate AI components (document extraction, layout detection, classification) into the platform

- Develop and manage backend services (APIs, data services, orchestration layers)

- Guide implementation of agent orchestration frameworks with human-in-the-loop controls

- Enable multi-source integration (ERP, vendor systems, contracts, timesheets)

- Ensure auditability, traceability, and explainability of all outputs

- Drive cloud-native implementations (AWS) with scalable architecture patterns

- Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, scaling)

- Establish data quality checks, validation rules, and golden dataset integration for evaluation

- Collaborate with stakeholders for technical design decisions and solution evolution

- Support performance tuning, reliability engineering, and production readiness

Qualifications:

Experience

- 8–12 years in software engineering, with strong experience in platform/backend engineering

- Proven experience building data-intensive or enterprise platforms

- Experience in AI-enabled systems or data platforms preferred

Technical Skills:

Platform & Backend

- Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI/Flask) or equivalent backend frameworks

- Experience in microservices and distributed architecture

- API design, orchestration, and service integration experience

Data Engineering

- Experience designing canonical data models and data pipelines

- Hands-on with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, vector databases

- Data transformation, validation, and reconciliation frameworks

AI & Automation (Preferred)

- Exposure to LLM-based systems, RAG workflows, or document AI pipelines

- Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, etc.) is a plus

Cloud & DevOps

- Experience with AWS cloud platforms

- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

- Observability, logging, and monitoring frameworks
